JAMES M. MURPHY, CMB
Founding Principal, CEO
As Founder and Chairman of Q10 | New England Realty Resources, Jim Murphy is responsible for investor relationships, business development and strategic planning. Jim's 35-year career in finance began in the Life Insurance Industry with MassMutual Life Insurance and continued through 1982 with UNUM Life Insurance Company. Jim's commercial real estate experience includes over $2.5 billion in transactions.

Nationally, Jim is former Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America ("MBAA") and its Board of Directors. He was a member of the Commercial/Multifamily Finance and Residential Boards of Governors and has served as Chairman of the Environmental Issues Committee, Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, and Strategic Planning Committee of the MBA. Additionally, Jim is a former member of Fannie Mae's National Advisory Council.

Locally, Jim was a member of the Mayor of Boston's Housing Finance Blue Ribbon Panel and has served as a past Director of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP). He is a member of the Board of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund, the largest independent scholarship organizations for students working at Massachusetts golf courses. He also serves on the Board of the Pennichuck Corporation (NASDAQ - PNNW).

Jim has been active in his hometown of Duxbury, Massachusetts where he resides with his wife, Barbara Ann. Jim has served as Chair of Duxbury's Finance and Fiscal Advisory Committees and has been elected to public office on the School Committee and the Board of Selectmen, which he chaired in 1997. Jim maintains the highest professional designation in the field of real estate finance as a Certified Mortgage Banker. Additionally, he is a State-certified General Real Estate Appraiser and has earned both a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

EDWARD J. RIEKSTINS
Principal, President, Chief Operating Officer
Ed Riekstins joined Q10 | New England Realty Resources in 1990 and has 17 years of finance and real estate experience. He oversees all commercial loan production and serves as President and Chief Operating Officer for the company. In 1997, Ed was chosen for the inaugural class of the Mortgage Bankers Association "Future Leaders" program and is past Vice-Chairman of the Statistics and Research and the Mortgage Banking Committees of the MBA. Ed has served on the Education and Program Committees and served as past Treasurer for the New England CCIM chapter. He is also a candidate for the CCIM and CMB designation. Ed holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA from Bentley College.

JOHN A. SULLIVAN
Senior Vice President
John Sullivan joined Q10 | New England Realty Resources in 2007 as Senior Vice President and has 35 years of real estate finance experience, including lending at both the regional and national levels. His experience encompasses all phases of debt and equity financing from construction to acquisition and from joint venture to mezzanine. He has worked in real estate finance for a national developer, a Wall Street securities firm and a national bank. His expertise in the field has allowed him to place over $4 billion in financings for commercial real estate both here in New England and nationwide. John is a graduate of Boston College and holds an MBA from Suffolk University.

JAMES M. WHELAN
Senior Vice President
Mr. Whelan's real estate career spans over 20 years and has encompassed commercial development, construction, property management; leasing, portfolio management, workouts and asset disposition. His most recent responsibilities included Regional Manager of a large multi-family property management company where he maintained direct oversight for operations of an 889 unit multifamily portfolio in northern New England.

Mr. Whelan's real estate affiliations include membership in the Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA) where he served both as President of the Association from 2003-2006 as well as on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He is a member of the Portland Community Chamber of Commerce and served on its Board of Directors. Additionally, he is currently on the Board of Directors of the Greater Portland Regional Chamber and is a member of the Maine Real Estate Managers Association.

Mr. Whelan is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Mr. Whelan provides commercial real estate financing to clients primarily in Maine and New Hampshire from the Q10 |  New England Realty Resources' office in Scarborough.

MICHAEL CHASE
Vice President, Loan Originations
Michael Chase joined Q10 | New England Realty Resources as an intern in 1998. He accepted a full time position after graduating cum-laude from Boston University School of Management with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Michael is Vice President-Loan Originations and provides technology support in the office.

RUTH MCNALLY
Loan Servicing Manager
Ruth joined Q10 | New England Realty Resources in 2000 as Servicing Manager. Prior to her employment with the company, she was a Senior Portfolio Manager with Holiday Fenoglio Fowler, LP. Her responsibilities included the management of a $2 billion commercial portfolio. She graduated magna-cum-laude from Northeastern University with degrees in Criminal Law and Accounting.
